We have been designing mobile apps since 2006, two years before the App Store existed. Time zones have been our obsession for over a decade.
worldclock.pro is built by the makers of World Clock Master, an Apple Editor's Choice app that reached the Top 10 Paid charts in the US. The free tools on this site run on the same time zone engine, the same weekly-updated database of 160,000 locations and time zones, and the same design principles as our native apps.
Our story with time started long before this site. We shipped our first mobile apps in 2006, joined the first wave of iPhone and iPad developers, and built the first pizza ordering app for Domino's. When Steve Jobs introduced the iPad in January 2010, our Accordion app was one he featured in the launch keynote.
We also know the problem we are solving from the inside. We have run a remote team since 2009, years before remote work was mainstream, collaborating daily across the US, Australia, Europe, and Dubai. Today Alex is based in Australia and Misha is in Los Angeles, so everything we ship crosses one of the widest time gaps on the planet before you see it. We use our own products every day; when a time is wrong anywhere, we feel it first.
The world clock itself began as a sketch in the summer of 2014: a 24-hour dial drawn to solve our own problem, coordinating a design team spread across five continents. That sketch became the 24 Hours app for iPhone and Apple Watch, and the whole design journey, including an App Store rejection over clock face rules, is documented in our 2015 Medium article. A decade of iteration later, that lineage grew into World Clock Master and Zulu Time, alongside World Clock Pro, which has been on the Mac App Store since 2014. This site is the newest member of the family.
Milestones

Shipped 24 Hours for iPhone and Apple Watch, and published the design journey on Medium: the 24-hour face, color-blind testing, and lessons from early WatchKit.
World Clock Master launched in April for iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro: Apple Editor's Choice, Top 10 Paid in the US, rated 4.6 stars by 800+ users.
Shipped Zulu Time for aviation and HAM radio in April, and launched worldclock.pro: free, fast time tools for the web, no sign-up required.
